Terms of Service

Licenses

Unless otherwise specified, all files downloaded from Comics, Games, and Things or an associated website are for personal, non-commercial use only. Purchase or being otherwise granted access to a digital product gives you a non-transferrable, non-exclusive license. This license allows you to print the files for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, share, distribute, or rent the files or any prints that you produce. The files may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, republished, or displayed. Any violation of these terms will be considered a breach of the Comics, Games, and Things Terms of Service and will result in the loss of any current and previously granted personal licenses. This means that access to your account will be permanently revoked.

Encouraging another Comics, Games, and Things user to break the Terms of Service by requesting the user sell, share, distribute, or rent files or prints of files that they have obtained through the Comics, Games, and Things platform will constitute solicitation to violate license terms. Soliciting a user to violate the terms of their license is a breach of the Comics, Games, and Things Terms of Service and may result in the loss of any current and previously granted personal licenses and access to your account may be permanently revoked.

Obtaining files from another Comics, Games, and Things user who does not have a license to sell, share, distribute or rent the files to you may constitute a breach of the Comics, Games, and Things Terms of Service. Access to your account, and the other user's access to their account, may be permanently revoked.

Digital Items

Digital items will remain in the user account for the lifespan of your account. You have the right to download these files at any time (unless your license is revoked, as above) through the CG&T website or other approved method. Excessive downloading which may result in impact to other users or platform resources will result in rate throttling, or if egregious, a lifetime ban.

Refunds cannot be given for digital items unless the files are missing, corrupted, or otherwise not as described, and the artist does not fix the file issues within a reasonable period of time. Patreon discounts cannot be retroactively applied to purchases made by a user who was not a Patron at the time of purchase.

If the system did not apply your Patreon discount, or you were otherwise incorrectly charged, please contact customer support.

Made-to-Order Items

Items physically fabricated in-house may not be returned. A replacement may be issued if there is some significant physical flaw. If the flaw cannot be resolved a refund may be issued if we deem it significant. We reserve the right to cancel any commission at any time for any reason for a full refund.

Retail Inventory

Discount codes cannot be retroactively applied to purchases unless there was a system error that prevented the discount from being applied to an eligible order. Customers are responsible for confirming that the discount code is applied before completing checkout. If the system did not correctly apply your discount code, or you were otherwise incorrectly charged, please contact customer support.

Partners

Users of the platform who are granted the status of 'Partner' must also abide by the Terms and Conditions for Partnership.
