• Although less well armoured than Warstriders of equivalent size, the Caiman's agility and range can be used to deadly effect by the more subtle of Shaltari Warchiefs, who prefer to annihilate the enemy before having to accept return fire.

A Caiman Heavy Gravtank is the answer to "what if Tomahawk, but bigger?". Armed with either a Gauss Triad or Heavy Microwave Cannon, the Caiman follows the Shaltari adage of "be prepared for literally everything". The Gauss Triad packs the power of 3 Tomahawks, while the Heavy Microwave Cannon ignores all Body and Soft Cover when finding its targets, offering little in the way of defence.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to arm with either a Gauss Triad or Heavy Microwave Cannon.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • While originally a fairly rare sight on the battlefield, the Crocodile has become much more common since the Battle For Earth. The Heavy Gravtank chassis also is home to the much stranger Alligator Gravcharger, which - through some unknown technology - is able to overcharge nearby anti-grav vehicles to even faster speeds, allowing the Shaltari to always dictate the direction of battle.

The Crocodile doesn't care who you are or what vehicle you're in: it is going to kill you. Its Particle Cannon ignores all Evasion and Passive Countermeasures, meaning there's very little you can do to protect yourself. Just hope for good luck or you'll be a crater. The kit can also be used to build an Alligator Gravcharger. Although completely unarmed, this support unit increases the Move speed and Move & Fire distance of friendly units in a wide area, giving you even more options for annoying your opponents.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to make either a Crocodile Heavy Gravtank or an Alligator Heavy Gravcharger.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • The Gaia represents one of the crowning achievements of Shaltari teleport gate technology. An intricate yet vast marvel of stunning complexity, It is the largest of its kind yet encountered on the battlefields of the 27th century.

What can we say about the Gaia? Do you want to deploy and then reposition your forces at a moment's notice? Do you want to do that with the most transport capacity available? Well look no further! Shaltari Gates are typically unarmed (other than a Reaction Fire with Charged Air), so the Gaia does one thing and it does it well: teleporting hedgehogs.

    Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature.

  • The Jaguar is perhaps the most iconic, and certainly the most distinctive of all Shaltari vehicles. It is a towering yet graceful tripod walker over 30 feet in height, bristling with advanced weaponry.

Synonymous with Shaltari, the Jaguar is the epitome of walker design. Scuttling on three legs (it's practical, honest), this massive unit is the equal of three main battle tanks. Armed with Twin Ion Cannons on top, it will be extremely annoying to enemy aircraft. The sides can be armed with either Twin Gauss Cannons for armour piercing abilities, or Twin Heavy Bio-Atomisers to deal with entrenched infantry.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to arm with either Twin Gauss Cannons or Twin Heavy Bio-Atomisers.

  • The Lynx Chiefstrider is a command variant of the Warstrider chassis immediately identifiable by its colourful crest. Shaltari commanders are warlike beyond reproach and although drawing attention to the presence of a leader is often deadly, the Shaltari's martial honour precludes such tactics, displaying their arrival proudly.

The Lynx Chiefstrider is what you'd want to march to war into. It's seriously pimped out. It has a dazzling hat that will attract the attention of any suitor, although will also help through bizarre magic-science to predict and direct the flow of battle. The Lynx also has a groovy VIP lounge on its back, although in-game the Command Module is best used to escape danger for your Commander - rocketing away to help keep them alive until the game ends.

    Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature.

  • In the Pungari it seems the Shaltari have found a much more pliant (if less capable) race than humans to exploit. Despite their obvious mental and technological inferiority to their masters, they are slavishly devoted to the Shaltari and appear willing to die in large numbers for them should one be present to witness their sacrifice.

You want terrible infantry? These are terrible infantry! Yeah, we're not going to try to persuade you that the Pungari will win you any games on their own. But in number they can be quite formidable! They're weak and prone to running away, but boy are they cheap! As far as cannon fodder goes, they're your go-to.

Contains 20 single-piece resin miniatures with 4 plastic bases to make 4 units.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • Ronin are the frontline assault troops of the Shaltari. Their primary role is to strike first and from unexpected places. The pilots live for the joy of battle, eschewing larger walkers or more nimble skimmer vehicles to stride through the warzone in a heavy warsuit.

The Ronin is one of the most formidable infantry units in the game. Able to go toe-to-toe with most vehicles, and heavy enough to shrug off a lot of damage from infantry too. Their Gauss Carbines give very strong anti-tank firepower, but they can instead replace them with Bio-Atomisers and Energy Blades, turning them into a pre-eminent close quarters unit that can clear out a room in no time.

Contains 6 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to arm all with Gauss Carbines or Bio-Atomisers and Energy Blades.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • The Spirit is the lightest and fastest of all Shaltari Gates, and is primarily utilised for scout and advance infantry insertion, although its size means it cannot teleport vehicles larger than a Light Gravtank. Its considerable speed and small footprint makes it particularly useful for rapid deployment and extraction missions.

Although the Spirit Light Gate is small, it's still full of spirit! See what I did there? Should I just go? Sorry. :(

  • The Thunderbird is a lethal gunship, dedicated to the ground attack role. Its highly distinctive silhouette is reminiscent of stinging insects, an eminently suitable comparison.

These diminutive aircraft are nonetheless incredibly useful. Swifter and better protected than most other faction's light ships, the Thunderbird benefits from the classic Shaltari combo of high Evasion and a Passive save. Armed with either Twin Disintegrators or a Short Barrel Gauss Cannon, you have the choice desperately short-ranged light vehicle killing (with Penetrative so you can still deal with heavy targets), or slightly longer-ranged anti-tank viciousness.

Contains 2 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to arm all with either Twin Disintegrators or Short Barrel Gauss Cannons.

  • Spires can be seen wherever Shaltari forces deploy. The towering edifices are taller than many buildings, but the view isn't the most distinct feature. The Totem Shieldspire creates an energy shield around itself and can project a further shield to protect nearby structures. Meanwhile the Obelisk Ionspire is often found teleported directly into the heat of the battle, firing up its Ion Storm to bring down anything that gets close with arcing lightning.

Both strange units, the Obelisk Ionspire and Totem Shieldspire are islands in the ever-flowing ocean of the Shaltari battleplan. Unusually immobile, it's best to drop them down in a location that might not be useful this round, but will be in the rest of the game. The Totem can protect all Shaltari within quite a wide range, making them more survivable than ever. Meanwhile the Obelisk is best used aggressively, dropping down to cause significant area denial early in the game.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to make as either a Totem Shieldspire or an Obelisk Ionspire.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • This box contains a perfect small Shaltari army. With 6 anti-armour Tomahawks, 6 Kukri AA Grav-tanks, and 12 bases of Braves, you have a solid core for an army. There are also 6 Eden Medium Gates and 6 Haven Terragates, which allow your army to teleport around the battlefield. Note that there are fewer Braves and Terragates pictured for our "recommended" army build, but you get some spares!

The army is led by a Daimyo Commander. This leader takes to battle in a medium exo-suit, joining a squad of Braves. While hot-headed and aggressive, the Daimyo makes for a capable Commander, able to teleport around the warzone using a personal Gate constructed from nanobots at a moment’s notice.

    This set includes:

Plastic Armour & Infantry: These multi-part hard plastic miniatures come on sprues for ease of construction. With easy-to-assemble pieces, you’ll

have your army ready in no time at all. The Haven and Eden Gates can teleport almost every unit in the army, making them a must-have!

Resin Command: The Daimyo provides Shaltari players with an inexpensive Command choice, cast in fine detailed resin. This miniature comes in four

pieces (plus a base), and can join a unit of Braves for protection and to get stuck into the fight.

Shaltari Fastplay Cards & Template: Designed to get you playing straight away, these cards contain rules for all the units in this box. There is also a quick reference card for the full rules, making gameplay easier. There is also a Dropzone Commander Blast template for any Area effect weapons you might want to use.
